Literally every thought I have comes with attachment and judgement as a projection of myself.

For the first time I could recognize and even separate “the moment,” or “what happens,” to “my judgement,” or “how I think about what happens.”

Jordan Carroll, what an awesome read! Learning #3 (quoted above) really resonated with, especially as I’m going through a job hunt right now. I’ve gotten a few offers that weren’t right for me, but they made me feel like I was on the right track and confident about my value in the job market. Then I got a few rejects back-to-back and it was really tough not feeling like it was my fault.

I need to get better at separating the moment, what happens, and my judgment about things. The how I think about what happens part was a total gamechanger because sometimes we have negative relationships with a judgment that isn’t really negative at all. Thank you so much for this, going to take it into the week and remind myself, I AM THE AMAZON.
